Just a short effort this month of March, the energy going elsewhere just for now…..

The beauty of the World Wide Web is that you can check out connections so much faster than if you’re riffling through magazines or blowing the dust off old books. But you need a little setup and assistance. This month, we introduce our new Links page, containing most internal artist links and a growing collection of interesting external links. It’s a large assembly, but it should help you skip around the site on your chosen agenda.

We don’t have new ‘content’ this month, since we’re at absolutely full stretch making the musical material ready for our next set of releases. Next month, we will have notes on CBGB’s 30th birthday (impending) and a memoir of the related scene built around the curious career of the Shirts (from Brooklyn), who were managed by the club's musical owner Hilly Kristal. Also from Brooklyn (Coney Island) is Carol Lipnik, whose new CD we will belatedly add to the collection available in streaming audio with commentary. And a few other fresh noises.....

In the meantime, we can still offer the regular pages for Hilly and Carol, among the 530 we have going on. Thanks for your patience. More follows, as they say…..
